Snow, Hats and Mittens

Yesterday was the perfect day to decorate winter hats and mitten cookies!
This year has been a record winter for Texas in many ways!!
We received a good amount of snow yesterday.
It was beautiful I felt like I was in a snow globe.
Texas is known for shutting down when Winter weather blows through.
The schools released at 2pm and started late this moring.
One reason I love Texas ~It was snowing yesterday and the sun is shining
today and it will most likely
reach 60 degrees!

"If you don't like the weather wait a day it will change"

Texas Snowman

After playing outside and building Mr. Snowman I went
in to dry off and decorate cookies!!!

These cookies are for the Teachers at
Pasemann Elementary that are celebrating a winter birthday!!

I also made some flower cookie bites to take to the
school and hand out as samples!!

Happy Birthday Winter Babies!!
Thanks Jennifer!!!

Wedding Sampler.........

A friend of mine asked me to do some wedding related cookies!
So, I put this Wedding Sampler together for her!

I had alot of fun decorating these!

Spinosaurus,Stegosaurus and Tyrannasaurus

When I purchased my first dinosaur cookie cutter I did not realize
how popular it was going to be!
I guess all the little guys like their dinosaurs!
Having two girls keeps me out of the loop on what little boys like.

I went by the bake shop this weekend and picked up FIVE more dinosaurs!!!
A few of them are featured below in my latest order for dinosaurs

Happy Birthday Christian
Thanks Bob!!

Popcorn {actual size}

Popcorn - Take Two!!!

So, I did an earlier post on Popcorn and how BIG they were.
I was making cookies the other night and cut out a smaller version of the popcorn bites.
I think these are ALOT better and actually are the actual size of popcorn!
I think I will stick with this cutter from now on for these bite size cuties!!

Dinosaurs & Turtles

Last week I decorated dinsoaur cookie favors for a birthday party!
One of the Mom's that was at the party contacted me and told me
her son wouldn't stop talking about the dinosaurs.
So, she ordered him a batch just for him.
What a great Mom!!!

Texas Sized Popcorn

Well, I am sure most of you have heard Texas is
know for all things "TEXAS SIZED"
Even if you are not from Texas you may have
had a relative visit that brought you back these

Yep, Texas sized JELLY BEANS..............

and someone you will always see at the State Fair

I am proud to say that I am only minutes away from the famous

You can get this tasty donut at
Round Rock Bakery in
Austin, Texas...

I have had a MUCH smaller version and they are fantastic!!!

Why do I post about all things
Texas sized?!??!?!

I was reading Decorated Cookies post about popcorn cookies!
I thought what a great idea! I can get popcorn bags make cookies and put them inside the bags!!!
So, last night I baked up some popcorn cookies and decorated them.
Decorated Cookie used a 1 1/4 inch round cookie cutter.
The smallest I had was 2in so my Popcorn is TEXAS SIZED!!!
Next time I will use a smaller cookie cutter so they don't look like
Texas Size Popcorn/Chicken Feet, HA!!!

I wrapped these up in the bags and Makenzie is giving them to her Teacher's for Valentine's Day!!

Sport Platter for Noah

This order came from a referral from a friend ~ Thanks Candi!

This is very similar to the last sports platter I decorated.
This one has SOCCER BALLS!!!

Thanks Sandra!!
Happy Birthday Noah!!

I got an order from a friend for Dinosaur cookie favors for her son's birthday party!
When I got the cookie cutter it was smaller than I had imagined!
After baking them up I didn't think it was enough cookie for a favor.
So, I baked two cookie bites for each treat bag!
I think it worked out great and I'm glad I added the extra cookies!

Thanks Christy!!
Happy Birthday Hudson!!
